Reception

Children and their families are welcomed with a smile and kind words, helping us have a good start to the day!

Morning activities in English

Painting, handling Play-Doh, making collages… these first morning activities together with their class group help stimulate the children and develop good social relationships.

Healthy morning snack

A small break with fresh fruit gives us some energy!

Free play time

Children are encouraged to play and do activities for extended periods of time to help them develop concentration and independence.

Further lessons in English

In the second part of the morning we focus on working more individually: Teachers work with children one by one to complete their lesson activities. This helps create a stronger, more trusting relationship between the child and their teacher.

Pre-lunch routine

This is a nice moment to take the register, talk about the morning activities, sing a song together and wash our hands before lunch!

Lunch

A lot of emphasis is put on giving all children a balanced, well-researched menu made special for them every day. Our very own cooks prepare nutritionally balanced meals tailored to children’s dietary requirements.

Afternoon nap

After lunch, the youngest pupils have an afternoon nap. The teachers read them stories, nursery rhymes and sing them lullabies to help lull them to sleep. Turning down the lights and listening to some relaxing music does the rest…

Pre-school activities

After lunch, the older pupils dedicate some time to early reading, writing and numeracy skills to prepare for their entry into primary school.

Afternoon snack

In the afternoon, the children stop for a break and have their snacks all together.

Home time

This is an important moment when parents and teachers can exchange briefly news about how the day went.

Exit from school

This is the moment in the day where teachers can share any important information with parents and tell them what we did during the day.

After-school club

During the after-school club teachers spend time with the children reading stories, singing songs and supervising guided and free play time.
