OUR IDENTITY

The Saint Denis School is an historical Institute which has been part of the school enviroment in Turin for the past forty years.

It is located at the base of the hill, in Corso Moncalieri n. 52/a since 1981, along the banks of the River Po, near the Umberto I bridge.

To meet the increasing number of enrolment requests from the families, from September 1st 2010, the facility has expanded: in addition to the headquarters of Corso Moncalieri, the kindergarten has been opened in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II n. 2, just in front of the Parco del Valentino.

The Saint Denis School is a bilingual Italian - English school that welcomes, in a sheltered and familiar environment, children coming from various parts of the city of Turin and the girdle as from other countries, European and not. It is an international environment where the cosmopolitan atmosphere is also due to the presence of teacher who are native speakers English and French, while the Italian ones have teaching experience abroad.


The teachers work with passion and professionalism alongside with parents without, however, replace them: children are taught not only to learn living as a community, respecting its rules, but also are taught the pleasure and excitement of learning.

During opening hours of the Institute (Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.), the school hours are structured in a harmonious and balanced way.

In compliance with the applicable ministerial programs for kindergarten and primary school, the teachers adapt the programs of the Institute also to meet the needs of the families, which require their children to learn the English language next to the Italian one, and to acquire a good basic education and a valid method of study, from a very early age.

A particular attention is paid also to the continuity of the education course, by following the children in the transition from kindergarten to primary school and from there to the secondary level.

In the kitchen, completely redesigned in accordance with the latest health standards and laws, the cook of the Institute prepares daily fresh food, following a tasty and balanced nutritional plan.

The Saint Denis School enriches its offer by organizing educational activities during the afternoon hours, like,, for example, sport lessons, leisure and language "deep immersion", educational tours and school trips. It proposes, in particular, every year, "the White Week", "the Blue Week", the study - holiday in England (English Courses in the UK) and the Summer School.

Finally, the School cooperates with children and families of the "Japanese Culture Association", which is hosted every weekend.
